Our Services & Capabilities

Our fabrication plant of 130,000 square feet contains a variety of equipment and machinery which provide a versatile ability to provide a multitude of fabrication and machining services. Our primary fabrication bay has a lifting capacity of 55 tonnes with 50 feet of clearance beneath the crane hooks. The size or quantity of products are not determining factors when considering the undertaking of projects.

Welding

NEP is certified to weld steel and stainless steel in accordance with CSA N285.0. Our welding team is filled with experts who have decades of experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. NEP’s manufacturing facility consists of numerous welding cells, automated MIG welding boom, and an automated sub-arc welding boom.

CNC Machining

NEP is equipped with three large horizontal CNC boring mills capable of fulfilling even the most demanding requirements thanks to their powerful headstock, high axial forces, and high precision. Our machines are capable of processing large and heavy workpieces while maintaining high accuracy, excellent surface finish, and top level quality.

Fabrication

Utilizing the facilities and equipment, our team of highly skilled and qualified operators and welders (certified to CSA N285.0, equivalent to ASME Section IX, and CWB W47.1) are supported by a dedicated and knowledgeable Quality Assurance staff, offering a one-stop shop that can handle all of your fabricating requirements.

Concrete Batching

Our facility boasts a state of the art computerized concrete batching plant, complete with indoor storage for up to 6000 tonnes of aggregate. The primary use for this batch plant is the production of high-density radiation shielding concrete.

Engineering

Our team of professionally licensed engineers have extensive experience with designing, evaluating, and analyzing small and large steel structures. We work with you every step of the way to create customized engineering solutions that meets your needs and requirements.

Testing

Our QA/QC program is the foundation of the company motto “We Manufacture with Quality and Pride”. Our program is certified by Canadian Standards Association QMI (Quality Management Institute) and by the Technical Standards & Safety Authority to CSA Standard N285.0-95.
